I ordered this online and was just curious to know what all it can do. It said camouflage pallet so it's basically concealer- but what do the unnatural colors do? Like the green and the pink. And can it be used for contouring? It's basically like a gel. Thanks!

Okay, so usually a green concealer is applied to areas that are red.. Think about it, red is the opposite of green of the color wheel, therefore applying a green concealer to a red spot will counteract the redness... Green concealers are usually used when you have pimples, windburn, rosacea, or just discoloration on the skin...

Lilac concealers are used to brighten up dull, yellow toned skin if it looks dull. And it is most commonly used to touch up any yellow toned discolorations on not yellow undertones... Again, they are opposites on the color wheel, so it makes sense...

Salmon concealers are usually used around the eyes, they essentially just brighten up the face... They add a little life to it. lol...

Yellow concealers hide purple and grey discoloration on the face. Just another color theory thing honestly... They are great for hiding bruises, veins and stuff like that...
White concealers are mostly used for highlighting and stuff, I would ask a mod about that one...

Then neutral concealers are just for covering up tiny imperfections, etc... You know what that's for. lol

Hope this helped!:))))))

Yes Jackie. I should've said that. oh well, really glad you covered it, thanks!:)

And you can use concealers to contour if they have grey undertones. if the have warm or orangey undertones like bronzers, you will not achieve the shadowy effect you want for contouring!:)))

I have to reaspectfully disagree with makenzie, a concealer does not have to have a grey undertone to contour, if you already have natural bone structure a cool concealer can help those cheek bones stand out a bit more, if you have natural cheek bones and u go in with something with a grey undertone to give a shadow effect you might end up looking sucked up which is not a pretty look, if u dont have good cheek bones like me lol u can use a cool concealer but it wont give the same effect as something with a grey undertone

The unnatural colors are used in combination with the skin matching color to hide discoloration on the face. It can also be used for contour and highlight as well as just a regular concealer. I have this palette in my kit and use it a lot!! Enjoy!
