What's the difference between eye primer and eye base? Any good suggestions!

I believe one evens out your eyelids skin letting the true colors pop instead of your invisible primer and the darkness of the eyes combining with your eye look that's how I see it :)

One preps your eyes for the shadow and can help the wear of the shadow, that's the primer. The base is so that it conceals the actual eyelid and makes the eyeshadow appear more vibrant.

I always have better luck with just using primers. Every time I have tried bases, it just ends up disappearing by the end of the day. Now if you use both then I guess it works but I don't even bother with that. For bases Maybelline Color Tattoo (cream) in the white colors is good and a white Nyx Jumbo Liner. As for my primers my favorite are Milani (amazing and holds up next to my high-end primers, Wet n Wild (I haven't tried but it has pretty great reviews and its only like $2), Urban Decay Primer Potion (Sin is my fav but its shimmery, but they have others like Eden and Original that aren't shimmery), and Too Faced Shadow Insurance is also great.
