I'm not sure what happened but my stylist really screwed up my hair color this time around she went wayyyy darker then my usual color. usually ud wait it out knowing it will fade but I have to many events coming up. I plan on giving her a call letting her know I'm not happy w the color but wondering how this would get fixed. is stripping it the only option I know that can be reall harsh. any ideas what they can do is it a simple process?

Depending on how dark, they may be able to use a high lift dye with a 30 or 40 developer, but it will only take it up a few shades, however it won't do a much damage as stripping.

Is your hair all one color? she can do what we call a "shampoo cap" or.color cleanse. its when you mix equal parts bleach/developer/shampoo. its applied quickly to the hair and worked thru untill it breaks thru the color. it usually only takes a few minutes if the color is fresh. its not as harsh as straight bleach and should not further damage your hair.

Call asap. fresh color lifts out much faster.

May I inquire as to what you said to the colorist upon completion? Did you relay your displeasure to them during your visit?

Rozberry of course. no I didn't. I did notice it was darker in the salon but always find it hard to really see the true color in there. I generally like to go home and take a good look at it under my normal lighting. it wasn't until I got home did I realize how dark it came out.

It is true about salon lighting. I'm so sorry! I hope you go back and they rectify matters free of charge. I can't imagine they'd be willing to lose a well-paying customer over what is clearly their error. Good luck to you.

OK, that's a huge difference! oh man...this may be a process. she's going to have to lighten up the base and probably add more hilites. It may not look exactly like your original color though. you should not have to pay for Any thing though. most salons have a 1 week window. I wonder what went wrong...that's quite a drastic change especially if you didn't ask for it.

Danny I'm sorry to bust up on your hair thread but what products do you use from Paula's choice? I wanted to try some of her stuff.

No problem it will get my mind off my hair I'm still upset about it lol
I use a lot the main things would be from the resist line replenishing toner, ultra light antioxidant serum, superlight wrinkle defense spf, intensive wrinke retinol serum and the 5% daily AHA and the 10% weekly AHA. I also use the BHA skin perfecting gel (makes me dry) the moisture boost cream, hydralight shine free spf and her vitamin c serum. the ones I always repurchase are the ultra light serum, the 5% aha, vitiamin c and any either of the spf products. I think ul get hooked the best part is you can try out w the little sample packs before you invest but even if you need to return their customer service is amazing. oh last thing the glycolic body lotion and body retinol are really great but I don't repurchase them often I find I go through it to fast for the size and price. if you get anything let me know what you think. I'd love your take on em
