Cutting your own hair; yes or no?

I always cut my own fringe. It's very low and full so whenever it grows it gets in my eyes. I just give it a little trim and I've taught myself to shape it. It saves me a fortune on going to the hairdressers! Anyone else cut their own hair?

I've been cutting my own hair since I was about 13, had a bad experience at a hair dressers once and never trusted anyone again. But since then I have had full fringes, side friges and layers and no one has ever said anything bad about my hair :) haha.

If you know how to cut your own hair and will make it look good then do it yourself otherwise, get a professional to do it.

Bang trims are free at most salons when you're a regular. I no longer touch mine, but I do go quite mad if they touch my eyebrows..lol

I've been cutting my own hair now for several years and I always dye my own hair. The hairdressers never did my hair right: straighten it to the point it was so thin and thin hair does not suit me! They cut the fringe to straight even though I would tell them to make it more choppy like, they never cut my hair the right shape (I tried many hairdressers) so I just do my own and too save a fortune!
