Sounds probably a bit crazy but I use cleaning products like chemico or jif, there pretty harsh so you don't want to use much but its always worked for me.

I'm not much help with getting it off, but next time try putting a layer of Vaseline around your hairline. That way, if any dye gets on your skin, you can just wipe it off. Best hair dyeing tip I've ever received!

Sallys has hair dye wipes that only cost like 5$ for a pack of maybe 50, when I dyed my hair purple I got it all over and that was the only thing that helped me! the only downside to it is if you leave the residue on yourself for longer than what it says on the container it starts to give you little peels on your skin that feel annoying til they go away. but other than that its an amazing product.
