Which one do you think it better. Although benefit is really expensive do you think it's worth it?

I personally haven't used baby skin before, I was going to buy it but I've heard so many bad things about it.

I have Baby Skin and it's really overrated. It doesn't get rid of pores at all, it doesn't even blur them. All it does is makes your face feel like a baby's ass.

With those two products they should be lightly patted on areas that need it.It's not an all over face product. It's also mention that Benefit Porefessional is Best used with Benefit's Stay Flawless.

I agree with Alma. My only thing is that I use professional with many foundations. It's been around longer than their foundation and now they say to use it with their foundation because they want to sell it. In my opinion the foundation wasn't good. It is nearly impossible to find a not orangey shade and when you do, it's still thick when it claims it shouldn't feel that way.
As for baby skin, it's not really supposed to be a primer. It makes make up slide off for most people. Its not the best product to put stuff over.

Baby skin had a greasy feel on my skin, I looked shiny, it just didn't work. I definitely prefer the benefits porefessional.

It's a face Balm ladies it has Sunscreen in it and when you apply your everyday routine like moisturizer and such before adding that product on top you need to be aware how much product your putting on hence why Foundation slides off.Every Product around is sold for different reason and all have certain ingredients that some are not familiar with so they assume a product is not good but in fact it's us as consumers that need to be more in the Know of what our skin type is and what will work or How to work with it.I found with claims of Poreless types of prep creams when your extremely oily skin you need to watch everything you put on your face before using such a product. It's one of those products you need to try yourself to get the idea if it's for you.

Baby Skin was not that bad for me like so many have experienced. It didn't do wonders for my skin though. Benefit was really good for me though, I loved how it looked for my dry skin with any foundation I tried with it. It worked for me better than Too Faced or Smashbox. But everyones different so try to find reviews on makeupalley that are based off with people with similar skin combos like your skin has.

I have to agree with most of these ladies, baby skin really sucked.

Alma I have heard, like you mentioned, to put a lot less for the baby skin. Hmmm I have oily skin, do you think porefessional works well with that skin type?

Alma, but it's advertised as a primer not a face cream :) Are you not ment to moisturise before using it? Because if not, that's probably where I'm going wrong.

Lisa what you said is important especially what you said about your skin Thank you for sharing that.I think pretty much Lisa has answered the skin type question.Always be light handed with the PORE types of Primer balms it's better on dry areas and you can still use with moisturizer but with moisturizer have a balance with the two because if you have so much of both it causes foundations slip off the face.I would also like to add having something like this in your makeup kit could come in handy when you have a dry spot. I believe it's always a must to have Two different types of Primers for your skin or anyone skin.

I say neither & go with either the Too Faced Primed & Poreless or Hourglass Veil Mineral primer. I've used both & absolutely love them ;D.

I could be wrong but I had heard somewhere that baby skin isn't actually a primer. All it's supposed to do is blur/fill the pores and that it doesn't actually increase the wear time of your makeup. I could be totally wrong though, although I thought I saw that somewhere. I haven't tried it but I honestly don't ever hear many good things about any drugstore primers. I don't think a lot of them have been perfected yet, just like American BB creams. I would go with Porefessional. Or try to get a sample of Hourglass Veil Mineral primer. It's expensive too but I always buy the travel size and save myself money. I'd suggest getting a primer first because while its a good primer some people say it doesn't help their pores. I don't really have an opinion on that because I don't have a huge problem with large pores so I don't notice a difference anyway. I think it's a really good primer though. I have oily skin and I love it. I'd definitely try to get a sample.

I agree with the Hourglass which I have as well but TF Primed & Poreless ( I also Have) is the exact same as the other Two products ( mention above ) the finish and texture is the same. I guess you can say the Baby skin is a Dupe of Benefit & TF Pore so called primers lol Hourglass is Just different with the finish and actually keeps the oils from appearing through the skin or sliding plus the ingredients are different as well.I also would recommend more but depends on your budget if any drugstore Primers what are you looking for exactly? What finish do you need? are you looking for a primer or a Base Balm? How are you applying the product? all these are something to think about.

Caitlin you make a good point. The L'Oreal pore vanisher (if that's the name) isn't really good as a primer either. Nor is the oil free one. I'm sure people are aware to only put pore covering balms on areas where visible pores are, but even then if a product isn't meant to be used under makeup I'm sure there isn't much to do. Especially for oily skin.

My pores aren't really that noticeable, so I guess I couldn't really see a difference when I used both products. I actually used them as a primer and they worked pretty well for that. I like the consistency of Benefit's and the liquid to powder effect, but it brought attention to the dry spots on my cheeks, and that's when I switched to Baby Skin which has a little bit of a greasy feel, but my foundation stayed on fine when I used that as a primer underneath. (I also have combination skin)

I want to reduce the look of my pores... But I know the baby skin just "blurs" them. A lot of people have told me benefit actually does make pore size smaller, and fills them more so than baby skin

Melissa, I think I'd probably like the liquid to powder consistency too! Is hourglass the same as that??

Wow. I love baby skin and it's my HG my pores shrink to half the size in appearance when I use it
