Best foundation brush for flawless finish?

So I've been back and fourth with my foundation application from the beauty blender to different texture brushes but I still struggle to achieve that flawless look. My foundation seems to 'sit' on my skin rather than sink in even though I use primer. I'm wondering if that has anything to do with the application? So what would you guys recommend or what do you use to achieve that 'flawless' look?

I definitely feel like using the beauty blender gives a more flawless finish:) it also looks more natural when applied with it!

Your primer or moisturizer may not be pairing with either each other or your foundation. Have you tried a stippling brush or UD's Optical Blur Brush?

Exactly what Rozberry said! if your foundation is water based and your primer is silicon based they are not.going to work well together. or vice versa. UDs Optical Bluring Brush works wonders. I use it with pretty much every foundation I own. it gives the best finish.

I've tried a stippling brush, I'm considering the Samantha chapman make up brushes, the buffing one in particular. I think you ladies might be right about the primer as well.. Thanks everyone :)
