It can hurt when you always try to sleep More and then you are late and you are in a hurry and you curl your lid... Lol bad experiences with it but still using and loving it! 👍😚

I quit using mine 2, makes me feel as if my lashes were being weakened by them. I'd rather have straight lashes as opposed to short or no lashes.

I use one every day.

I use mine occasionally.
I just try to do it lightly, just enough to curl them to my liking.
And Asma that made me laugh so hard! I've done the same thing!! Many times!! Hurts like no other!!

I would like to know Alma's take :). I use the tarte one, with the 3 pumping action and I always have lash or two fall out and my lashes never seem to stay curled. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. :(

I love them! of course sometimes they pinch my skin and it hurts so bad but there is a huge difference between straight eyelashes and curly eyelashes. (:

I like japanese brand eyelash curlers bc they don't have as much of a curve to them because of the type of eyes Asians generally have so I find that they pinch a lot less and I have better control.

I use the Billy B eyelash curler, I honestly don't see much of a difference, maybe I'm doing something wrong. My eyelashes are naturally curled too, so maybe that's why lol.

Thanks Alma! And of course everyone else! I quit using mine simply because..this might be shallow to say but it's the one feature that I got lucky to have long lashes. So when it comes down to it I'm super sensitive as to what I use on my lashes. I have tried other natural ways of perkin them up. But I am not even sure it's okay what I have been doing. So I wanted some opinions from everyone!

@Jacqueline thank you, I'll try that but how can you tell if a mascara is dry formula?

Talia B.
I personally don't need them, and if you really don't need them I don't think you should use them, I have seen people whose upper lash line flesh is showing because of it. Although Jacqueline has a point you really need the right one I just don't think it's healthy to use it all the time.

I need it , it opens up my eyes way more and Makes me look awake.

It's pretty obvious which formulas are dry vs wet like badgal by benefit is dry and they're real by benefit is wet - I personally prefer dry formulas myself and I use the curler because without curled lashes my hooded eyes just look smaller and I like my eyes to look open and awake :)

I have super long STRAIGHT lashes. I am obsessed with my eyelash curler. I usually don't wear falsies so I have two in my makeup bag and one in my purse at all times!! I love my MAC curler wayyy better than my drugstore curlers. But I'm hoping to try the brands alma & Jacqueline recommend as eyelash curlers are my absolute FAVORITE tools ever. My wife actually makes fun that I'm obsessed with curling my lashes... I think she's right. 😁

That is an INCREDIBLE breakdown and description, Jacqueline! Makes total sense, and I never knew the difference! Thanks so much

I use them all the time I hardly ever pinch my skin only like twice in a year normally when I'm like half asleep lol
But I love my eyelash curler I think it's a must have thing for everyone's beauty bag
It really makes a difference in how your lashes look (unless you are extremely lucky and have naturally curly lashes )

They do nothing for me.

I don't use it because my lashes curl naturally, and like Talia mentioned, if I do use a curler my "lashline flesh" shows. That's a perfect description of it, lol. I just use my regular mascara and I'm fine.
