Has she done a wedding list? If so, see if you can buy her something from that. If not, make her a scrapbook or photo album of all the pictures of you and her! The sentimental gifts are the best, and you don't have to spend a lot! You can get scrapbooks or photo albums from anywhere, you can put her favourite coloured tissue paper in it and decorate it and make it look beautiful! She'll love it:) hope she has a lovely day

I love the Cambridge satchels from UK. If I were your sister I would ask you to buy me with my fav color with my name engraved. It's high end leather and personalized. Like mine 👍💁. Just my oponion

Destination wedding...I always give an envelope of cash. I still have wedding gifts we haven't even used yet but when folks gifted us money we used it towards buying new furniture for our home.

Newlyweds need money..seriously. In a huge way...unless they are well off. I gave both of my sisters money and a tastefully framed small group of photos with us together from childhood through the years. It was very sleek and professionally framed. Both sisters were touched..and got a bit of financial stress relief.

Yes money is really practical. But for me I would also love a thing that will remember me of my sister. Something that won't fade, something that lasts, something that I like. Like a purse (cos I'm a purse collector) or anything I could carry wherever I go. That way she will always be with me, sharing my new life abroad or not, witnessing the beautiful spots. It would always reminds me of my bestfriend/sister. To each is own. Just saying :)

Don't be stressed. Its ok. As long as it is given whole heartedly. When my friend got married I gave her $500. And that's because they wanted to go to Vegas. Aside from that I gave her a dress something to wear on vacay. Cos she likes dresses. But its up to you though. Yesss let's go shopping! Lol.

Get her a beautiful LUSH gift :) brides love receiving a gift that's meant special for them on their big day or you can make it an intimate bath/shower gift for two.

You can incorporate the money into the gift by sticking it with the card :)

I'd say at least $50 if you're not giving anything else and around $20-$30 if you are.

I think really nice Pots and Pans are awesome wedding gifts (if they don't have any and like to cook). My mom has a kitchen aid mixer someone gave her for her wedding and she still uses it.
But it it's abroad I'd stick with $$$
