Is it age appropriate to wear a red lip when you're 15? Some friends do it and I really like it. X.

Lol a few months ago (I'm 13) I wore a red lip to the mall once :) I didn't wear it again, I only wear it if it's a special occasion :)

I think it is, but not as an everyday thing, do you need inspiration for looks! Remember to tone down all other aspects such as eyes blush and Bronzer as red lips are the focus

It's perfectly fine! I'm 17 and wear a red lip almost everyday and I started at 14!

I think 14 / 15 is good but only if you apply it nicely with a flawless foundation :)

Absolutely. You can always use a red lip stain, which is long lasting and comes in great shades of red. Finding what red you feel comfy in is key to being confident in rocking anything. I recommend Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Sticks..or any of the Revlon colorburst sticks. They smell minty, aren't expensive and are buildable. Their shades are gorgeous!

I think you could wear red lips at 15, as long as you are aware that red lips is a very sensual look and understand that. I would probably suggest you using a not to bright shade of red, but I'm a bit old fashion is guess haha!

Once again I am going to be the conservative person and say no, it isn't appropriate. Red lipstick is seen as a very suggestive symbol for a woman (seductive, if you will), and is not appropriate for a young teen. It draws the wrong kind of attention.

I wore red lips at 16 and looking back I looked like a clown. Me and my friends wore blue or black heavy eyes with red lips. Just keep the eyes simple!!

I'm with Rozberry on the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains...they have a variety of colors and finishes so you can start with a more sheer tint or build it up to a heavier more pigmented look when you get more comfortable!
