Do you guys have any tips on putting eyeliner on your waterline? I try and it never seems to work. Thanks! Pictures would be appreciated!

Yep. Exactly what Mairead said. I don't ever put liner on my water line so other than telling you to get a good liner, I don't know.

I used to put it on my waterline and I found liquid stayed on best but it can sting also give it a few seconds for it to dry and yeah I agree with mairead :)

I use Tarte, Too Faced or the Black 24/7 UD Pencil..mall of which are water resistant. I dry my waterline with a q-tip..apply using pencil..blow up on it (like you'd huff in frustration) and then gently pack it with shadow. Never travels..wears beautifully..and I don't get gunky eye. ;)

I agree with Rozberry! Another tip is that gel eyeliner stays much longer and is much more pigmented than a pencil liner. It's creamier too!

The urban decay 24/7 eyeliners and the Benefit Bad Gal waterproof stay on me well. I've had trouble with wear time and transferring, but these liners are great!

Gel and cream liners work the best. liquid can be good but you have to let it dry or else it will get in your eye.

Used have this problem so bad, mine never used to stay on all day like everyone elses. Now I use a gel liner ( I use cheap/drugstore stuff) dry my waterline with a Q-tip , then coat the end of a Kohl eyeliner in gel liner then apply it :) that seems to be enough for me but others also apply an eyeshadow for staying power if your worried its not enough! Honestly is my life saving tip I love it!

Use a pencil! I just use the cheap brands like MUA or beautyuk.

What I do is dry my waterline with a tissue/Q-tip and before I use a water proof pencil liner I heat it up you can blow on it or put it under a flame for like a couple of seconds (I took that tip from Wayne goss :) ) and then apply the liner wait a few seconds and let it set and your good to go. good luck :)

I use Mally Starlight Colour eyeliner in Black, it's a pencil liner but stays forever, it's bulletproof! I find it tickles when I put it on the waterline and I'm sitting there giggling and my mum walks in like what the hell haha:)

Cream/gel liners work best. A liquid liner can be a pain because they're pigmented if it's not dry it will get all in your eye and it can sort of just leak in your eye and be a mess. Pencils are nice but are too hard and well cream/gel would be best as it's more solid and as pigmented compared to a liquid liner yet not as hard and dry as a pencil.

Elana..I still heat mine sometimes when using firmer pencils. Very old school. I like it. :)
