Ugh, I put a honey and cinnamon face mask on, but I think I was allergic to the honey, and the cinnamon just aggrevated it. It's really horrible and hot, it totally burns. I took a few allergy pills, but do you guys know anything I could put on to soothe it? It isn't acne or anything, all allergy. Thank you so much!!

Plain yogurt and oatmeal :) leave it on for a good 20 minutes then wash it off with room temp water.

This happened to me except my eyes were swollen shut and I could barely breath. Calamine lotion kinda works. Allergy pills and sleep are your best bet.

I would just leave your face alone take your allergy pills and go to sleep. Oh and avoid touching

A cool compress (cold wet washcloth) will help sooth the burning and hives. As it starts to clear, use a fragrance free moisturizer (Cetaphil, Eucarin, Aveeno) to keep it hydrated so the skin doesn't crack or flake. Keep using the allergy meds, and try not to touch it. Calamine lotion can help too if you have it.

I have the same issue with natural honey. I get full body hives and anaphylaxis, it sucks. Sorry that happened to you doll, hope it feels better!

Thank you guys so much! I iced it down right after, so I hope that helped. And thanks for the moisturizer suggestion, I wouldn't have thought to do that!

Grind up any kind of oatmeal you have, and wet it with some warm water and apply it on your skin for 15 minutes, you can also try some Aloe Vera as well ☺

Milk! If you're lactose intolerant I'd say use soy/almond. whatever you have around. Since you don't have yogurt this is the next best thing, it really helps and is quick :) I have super sensitive skin and suffer this kind of reaction all the time :) if you want to add in the effort whisk a little olive oil into the milk before gently dabbing it on with a cotton ball. Then wash with lukewarm water! Feel better!

You could also try some Advil as directed. Its not only a pain reliever, its also an anti-inflammatory.

You poor dear! That looks painful. :( I would see the dermatologist if it were me...and I hope you do so asap. In the meantime...drink green tea and boil some extra..letting it cool and soak it up in a thin,,cotton washcloth or torn bit of 100 cotton and just lay it over your face..closing your eyes. I cannot express enough to any ladies suffering from acne or illness (let alone those who aren't) the wonderful ways in which green tea can help you. It detoxes the liver, contains a natural antibacterial agent, reduced inflammation (both when applied externally and taken internally) and to boot, it speeds metabolism. Green tea will soothe and reduce your swelling, Zoey. If you don't have any..please ask a friend or parent to pick a box up. The antihistamine was a great idea and I hope it helps. *hug*

Aww, thank you so much! My acne has actually completely cleared up, if you can believe it! I have like, two spots hanging around the edges, but other than that, it's just scarring. I had no idea about the properties of green tea, and I'm definitely going to be grabbing a bunch when I go to the store! Thank you a billion times over, Roz!
