I use it all the time in my hair, after I showered & my hair is wet. & I also use it on my skin, only at night when I go to bed. it doesn't leave your face oily, my skin actually soaks it up & is left very smooth in the morning.

Coconut oil is moderately comedogenic so I usually refrain from using it on my face.
I use it tons in hair masks and in cooking.

I use it for my hair and food, my hair used to be really unhealthy and dry and frizzy and using a coconut oil and castor oil treatment on my hair twice a week for a month really saved it and it grew loads!

I use it on my hair. I also make body scrub and lip scrub with it as well as soften my lashes with it on a qtip. It is a natural antibiotic, antibacterial and antifungal so it's a great fit for keeping my lashes from being brittle. I have never had an issue with it using it upon my face. It soothed an inflamed rash I had on my cheeks, actually. I always suggest doing a test patch, but I'm not prone to breakouts from it. LOTS of other stuff irritates my skin, but not that. It's really fantastic to shave legs with as well. Everyone is different, so you're doing the right thing by researching it and getting feedback.
