Braiding apparently helps with growing hair. Also, eat the proper foods in order to encourage hair growth. I would also recommend soaking your hair in coconut oil! :)

To grow my hair out I used protective hairstyles with vitamin E oil. I would spray my hair with vitamin e oil n put it in a huge bun. Now my hair is long n healthy!

Mercedes gave good information! Also braid it to prevent breakage while you sleep and eat broccoli! :-)

Braiding doesn't grow hair. It helps preserve it. You don't have to comb/brush it etc.so less breakage

Oh also don't wash it everyday! curly hair needs moisture to keep nice and curly so leave in tonics are awesome and when you do wash it , use cold water.

If your hair is very thick and dense I suggest getting a twist out which helps it or to keep it always moisturized.

And conditioning it with cholesterol helps.

No heat
LOTS of moisture

To grow my dry and brittle curly hair (and make it better condition) I used a coconut and castor oil treatment, one teaspoon coconut oil and half a teaspoon if castor oil (give or take for the length of your hair) put it in the microwave for 20-30 seconds, let it cool a little then apply all over, I left it in overnight and washed it with a clarifying shampoo in the morning, I done it twice a week and honestly it helped my hair soooo much

Curly hair typically needs more moisture than other hair types, so don't be afraid to use quite thick and strong conditioners, also natural shampoos and conditioners help curly hair so much especially when it comes to not washing it everyday (lush do some AMAZING natural shampoos and conditioners) and if you need to dye it, use henna (also from lush) and you'll see a big big difference!!
