For ultra mega curl curls, use sponge streets and a curl setting spray. Just spray piece of hair, wrap on curler repeat. They dry relatively quickly then you've got crazy curls that can also be tamed with combing or super tamed with a soft brush. It really depends on the type of curl you're going for, direction of parting, setting, and method will vary your curl greatly, but there are many no heat methods! Have fun! =)
