Same here hun!..it pains from deep inside!...for me I tried first the tea tree oil. when applied overnight it reduces the pain to a great extent but doesn't get rid of it completely.(takes time)
I also used benzoyl peroxide but felt too harsh.
and now waiting to try something else...I hope your thread would benefit me...:P :D

Thanks I hope so too Anery! I've cut dairy out of my food for a week sometime cystic acne can be from your body rejecting dairy or gluten

I use Grease lightning by lush and it helps get rid of them way faster. If its really bad its still gone in 5 days or less. Also it's most likely not your body rejecting gluten. A common thing with celiac disease isn't breaking out. You would feel fatigue, get a rash, throw up, or have the feeling that you need to sleep. That's what happens to my mom at least.

Benzoyl peroxide. Seriously. Benzac 10. Not in little spots but across the whole area to disinfect. Within a month they will be gone, leaving behind a few awful marks. Believe me. I had tried everything until I found Wayne goss's video where he talks about his own experience which sounds so much like mine and possibly yours and the he explains how he used benzoyl peroxide. I just followed it to the t.

Both my mother and my sister had it. I was almost there. All of us took accutane. I suggest you do too before you get ice picket scarring! It rids you completely

I did, for a little more than a year. I cut dairy out of my diet and its been 3 months since and I don't have any breakouts anymore.

Benzyl peroxide is great! and I used pro active it takes a lot of redness out, and do remember acne has nothing to do with your diet!

I have found dairy to be the enemy when it comes to my cystic acne...the more I avoid it the better off I am. I still get a cystic zit here and there and it seems they crop up at random. The hardest thing it leaving them alone (not picking) and I have horrid ice pick scarring on my lower right cheek from picking and squeezing in the past. Origins makes a great active charcoal mask that helps draw it out faster & I have a prescription azelaic acid cream that shrinks them down quickly and reduces the pain.

Mine was mainly due to hormones and using poor makeup products that clogged my pores so I changed my diet, exercised more, drank more water and switched to noncomedogenic higher end makeup products - for skincare what initially cleared me up was the alba botanica acnedote line - its willow bark based n did wonders for my skin - I also started incorporating witch hazel toner and tea tree oil spot treatments and those really helped me when I was first breaking out - now I rely on the mario badescu acne products n they are amazing! I rarely breakout now unless I slip up n eat too much greasy foods or dairy or during that time of month but its usually only 1-2 pimples that go away pretty quickly n don't leave scars - that's what worked for me personally.

The best thing that works for mine is honestly Jojoba Oil and Sulfur. I have tried everything from BP, Salicylic Acid, Tea Tree Oil, Benzoyl Peroxide [ which I just don't recommend] and my $3.99 sulfur ointment still beats all of the above without drying out my skin. Jojoba Oil will help reduce the inflammation and size.
I use it everyday in part of my moisturizer.
I usually get cystic acne by my chin during my period and I honestly don't even know until I touch the area and feel the pain. Jojoba Oil is non-comedogenic so you don't have to worry about it causing more acne. Neosporin can also help with the inflammation/redness/and the pain.

Seriously cystic acne is completely different from typically white or black heads.
Different and Epiduo works!! Accutane if you are desperate. It's a serious 6 month program and you may need to take several rounds.
great products I use & to try: cetaphil gentle cleeanser, aveeno skin brighting daily scrub (very gentle), body shop seaweed toner, mario badescu buffering lotion, mario badescu whitening mask, mint julep mask, cerve moisturizers, cerve pm lotion. All the products were recommended by a dermatologist.

Thanks ladies I've cut the dairy out of my diet for about four days now and I've seen a difference. For some people diet does cause acne and eczema and it has helped me before
