I'm an 18g right now, standard size. But I'm loving small gauges and I think I might want them. What's the smallest plug/eyelet you can buy? What size should I go to? (yes I know I have to work my way up to it lol, I've been doing my homework) 0 is a bit intimidating for me. I think I'm going to sleep on it (for months) because I'm having mixed feelings. I don't wanna be old and have a big ol' lobe hanging down for the cats to play with >.<

I don't think ear stretching is a good idea purely based on that my friend did it and all I remember was her constant complains over how much it hurt and it kept seeping yellow pus from it...not nice and not something anyone likes! She is trying to close it up but it still will never close up completely so I think avoid it.

I think it's up to you. I know people who love it and don't have any problems with it. Just don't go really big or they will never close up. With keeping them small they have a chance of closing up. (Just keep it so you can't fit any fingers into your lob) also you have to think of what your job will want in the future.

You'll have to remember that you're stretching skin and it will smell like rotting cheese. Sorry for the graphics but even a regular ear piercing (just got my second holes) smelt horrible. haha

Hi Bryanna I used to have my ears stretched to about the thinkness of a finger I would advice you don't because when I decided I didn't want it anymore although it healed fine it's hurts to wear earings hope this helped xxx

I don't really know gauge sizes, but I would suggest going to the size or a pencil eraser too. My sister got that size and they go back to eating size if you don't like them. Personally I don't like the huge gauges, but I think slightly stretched ears are cute.

I had my second hole stretched for about a year, I only took it out cause I wanted to enlist in the military lol but I loved them, I actually want them back, I went up to a 2 because 00 is the point of no return I guess you could say lol yes they do smell if you don't clean them everyday but just like with any piercing you have to take care of them. yes they do hurt, like giving birth through your ear lol but its only temporary and once it heals they don't hurt at all. I think you should go for it if you want, I'm no expert just sharing my experience. my ears actually never went back to normal and I only went up to a 2 but its nothing too bad lol

I have my ears stretched to a 00, no it's not bad. No, they only smell when you first get them and then after when you don't take care of them. I've had them at a 00 for about a year and they're fine. I will be taking them out soon because of hm major in college and they'll close fine. It's all up to you.

Go to a 4 or 2 :) you won't have the issues Emma said if you do it correctly. it's not a big commitment if you stay smaller & take care of them :) if you do that, you shouldn't have issues letting them close later on. just don't size up when your ear isn't ready!

I went to a 2 a few years ago and it wasnt very big... its very addictive so you don't realise how fast youre going sometimes. I think a 2 is perfect because if you ever regret it, you can probably go back like I did (fully normal). just make sure you don't rush between sizes to prevent blowouts and use GOOD QUALITY MATERIAL PLEASE itll change everything!

I stretched my ears rather large! you could fit a bottle cap in them! from experience I would say only stretch them small enough that they will go back to normal size. you may regret it like I did! good luck doll.
