Which side is the best to part your hair on and why?

From what I understand it's best to change it up often to prevent breakage. but I prefer a deep side part a la k. stewart. :)

I part my hair on the left side because when I was younger I parted it in the middle and I ha straight across bangs but then I went and got side bangs and I badly wanted to look like my sister so I got it on the left because she had hers on the left and now I just look weird with it on the right

But what I heard every so often you should change up your part even just a little bit just because if its in the same place for a long long time the hair there will begin to thin out and your hair won't be as strong as it use to be

This is going to sound weird but if you're right handed I recommend parting your hair on the right and vice versa. this is so if you're writing and want to rest your head on your hand your hair won't fall in your face. lol I know it sounds weird but I'm right handed and my parts on the left and it really bugs me but its cut to be parted left so I can't really change it

^ haha I have this same problem.

Yes, I've heard that too. The hair at your part is more exposed to yanking and harsh styling, as well as being more exposed. So if you part your hair the same way, the hair can break and thin.

I agree with Janet. I'm also right handed and part my hair on the right side for those reasons. My hair naturally parts in the middle and I get often get around that by styling it differently. But when I really need a change I part on the right.

I change mine up from time to time but middle parts just look really bad on me so I don't do those.

I usually part it on the left, it is more versatile than on the middle :)

Middle usually but I have a "double crown" according to my nan so I can part it in like 5 different ways.
