If you still have it on..rinse it off. I'd splash my face with milk and then leave it alone to calm itself for a while. I personally never do more than one treatment in a day. My only exception is Philosophy's micro delivery wash because it intended to be incredibly gentle..allowing very light, routine exfoliation. Even so, masks remove dead cells so I would not recommend anything in conjunction with it aside from maybe steaming your pores and then moisturizing after the mask with something non irritating, like a natural oil.

That has happened to me also. Don't know if you made your skin worse. But since I don't like that feeling, I will use a scrub one night & do the mask the following night. But before I do the mask, I''ll wash my face with cleanser & one of those facial cloths. But not just any cloth, SIMPLE EXFOLIATING CLOTHS. Simple makes about 6 types of cloths, the exfoliating ones are the best because they have a fine but scrubby texture to them. I also use Olay Cloths for washing off makeup but those are not scrubby enough for exfoliation. An exfoliating cloth won't be as abrasive as a scrub and should be effective enough since you did your actual scrub the night before.
