My skin has been so dry this winter and my normal moisturizer wasn't cutting it so I decided to try a new moisturizer...worst mistake ever!! I have pretty sensitive skin and I think the fragrance in it irritated and basically burnt my face especailly under my eyes :( its so dry under my eyes now and it looks like I'm developing wrinkles that I never had before... I've been using my normal moisturiser like crazy and it doesn't seem to be getting better.. has this ever happend to anyone before? does anyone know of a really good eye moisturising cream?

Oh I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe some compresses with milk will help soothe your face. I doubt your wrinkles are permanent and you will be fine soon!

Ouch Shannon, I'm sorry to hear you had such a nasty reaction. I feel your pain I had bad reaction to a cleanser a while back that left my face looking like I had a horrible sunburn. I used aloe vera gel to soothe my skin and gently moisturize my skin while it healed. I'd advise keeping your skincare simple until it calms down.

Sounds like an allergic. reaction. I'd discontinue the new cream. cleanse with something gentle and pure like olive oil to soothe until it heals and then try cereve. What is your regular skincare routine? sounds like your skins protective barrier is way off kilter.

Shannon I'm not sure what part of Canada you Live in, but try London drugs or shoppers drug mart if you have them, I've seen the first aid beauty one at both. :)

You can find Egyptian Magic on Ebay & Amazon & other sites. Like I said, it is 100% natural. It has NO CHEMICALS in it possibly cause stinging or more burning so. Research the ingredients. When your skin is "burning", even so called sensitive skin & calming products can aggravate it due to the chemicals in it. IIMO, if you can't put a product on your eyes, you shouldn't put it on burned or burning skin.
