It was okay, I didn't really love it being both a scrub and a mask because I felt like it was too harsh to use both. Even if you want to just use it as a mask you still get a little scrub action lol. I also didn't think the mask itself worked so great, it didn't seem to ever actually dry down. For a charcoal mask I really like the one from Origins. It's pricey but it works really well and a little truly does go a long way. I also really like the dead sea one from Freeman, I wouldn't quite call it a dupe for the Origins one but they did seem to work similarly.

I just used it as the scrub and then I put the freemans avocado oatmeal mask and my face feels really smooth and clean :)

I just used this last night and my skin looks really nice today :) I'm not flakey at all and my makeup went on flawlessly. I will be repurchasing :)
