Same!! My face is clear except 1 or 2 dark spots that are ANNOYING. I've used shea butter and it cleared up all of the old ones. But I want to fade the one on my face fast. I have no clue what to use

The Clinique Even Better Serum & Cream did nothing for my melasma. That was just my experience. I'm not saying it won't work for you or others. My type of hyperpigmentation is especially stubborn. Whatever you choose, make sure you a sunscreen of at least an spf 30 everyday. Even on gloomy days. One day of sun can reverse 6 months of improvement.

I agree with SPF because any skin lightener will make your skin more susceptible to sunburn since hydroquinone (which is what most dark spot serums contain) attempts to stop or slow the production of melanin in the skin which also what your skin uses to naturally protect itself from the sun otherwise vitamin c creams are great too.
