I personally like you tubers who has some sort of second job than you tubing, if that makes sense. Marlena, from makeup has a cosmetics company, I find her story very inspiring, plus I find her method of teaching to be very easy. I have recently started to take an interest in makeup, her videos made it less intimidating...Jaclyn is a professional MUA, she is super fun to watch...and learn. & Kandee is such a happy person :) :) :)

I was just asking "why" because I like different gurus for completely different reasons. Since I started doing YouTube I've found that its hard to not do what everyone else is doing and just kind of be your own person. I find it super neat to find out what makes certain vloggers stick out to certain people.
Such as Kandee, I watch mainly for inspiration purposes. She used to do a lot more tutorials (which is why I initially subscribed) but now she's just a happy heart. Its crazy that someone can be that positive all the time. But I like it.
I like Shaannxo because she just seems like she'd be a cool friend to get ready with.
Casey Holmes I like because we have similar coloring and her eye looks always turn out flawless.
Nicole G because I basically want to be her when I grow up. She's so confident and professional and look stunning all the time. She's perfected the "effortless" makeup where she's wearing tons but it looks like she just woke up that way somehow.

Ahh crap I forgot makeup geek too. I just recently subscribed to her but she's got some great videos too.
I like all of the ones I listed because they are all pretty genuine and each have their own little quirks and personalities. It doesn't matter to me that not all of them are exactly what some would call professional but I think they are all talented and I feel like they all would be very nice and kind in person.
