I've tried to exfoliate my lips and apply Vaseline and then allow it to soak it but it still comes out wierd.

Okay thank you guys so much! Do you think maybe canceling out my lips with some foundation would help? I do have really pigmented lips.

Use concealer to cancel out your lips natural color and then apply the lipstick on top of that.

I have pigmented lips and I just go over them with my foundation brush after I'm done with it

I would use a medium nude lipliner. Then apply the lipstick with a lipbrush. If it still doesn't look right, then I would apply a slightly darker (darker than the Fairest Nude) lipstick in the same color family around the perimeter of your lips so just the Fairest Nude is in the center of your lips. Or you can shade in the perimeter of your lips with the lipliner very lightly to create a smooth transition from lipliner color to the lipstick color. If all that doesn't work, maybe it's just not your color. I'm half Asian & I know how difficult it can be to find that perfect nude.

I think lip liner would work thats sort of a more pink brown undertone and then add the lipstick on top so it won't flush you out.

As the other ladies said, try a concealer. also don't use Vaseline. it's a sealant, not a moisturizer :)
