So thanks to all you wonderful people, I think I have done a cat eye I can be proud of :) I want to specifically thank Hannah, Diggie, and Velen for giving me great tips. But I want to thank you all for your helpful comments! How did I do? Oh and I just got back from playing basketball so my face is bare :)

I think you may have done your cat eye "too soon" if you get what I'm saying. You could have afforded to line more of the outer lash line and then begin your "flick."
I've been practicing cat eyes for years and recently I found something that works for me- straight edges. I lot of people use tape but I hate the way that tape feels on my skin so I use a third of an index card. I hold it up to wear I want the wing to be and trace along that line. It gives me a very crisp edge. I also do this when doing "cat eye" eyeshadows.
I hope this helps you a little, I find it SO hard to type out technique instructions. 😂

Thanks Megan! I tried that before, but it was suggested to me to try brown. I think this is subtler, but if I want dramatic I will totally use black! And thanks Maria!

Thank you Rozberry! I was trying for a simpler look, not one that screamed look at my eyeliner (which is ironic considering that is what I am asking you ladies to do) so I am really glad you like it :)
