I got the Mac studio fix foundation today and don't know the best way to apply it! I usually use a beauty blender for my other foundations :) thanks!

^ No! That RT stippling brush is a hassle. I use it everyday. It does have a nice finish but you really have to work at it to get the streaks out. It's not as effortless as a kabuki brush or a buffing brush.

Also, stippling brushes sheer out coverage. They don't provide full coverage simply because it's not a very dense brush. I would get a dense, synthetic brush (can't soak up product like a natural hair one would) if you want full coverage.

The beauty blender sheers out coverage as well. If that's your thing, you should get a buffing brush that way you can build your coverage if you want it sheer or medium (full coverage depends on the product)

At Sandra, that's why! They are just like our hair, soaks up product.

I use a flat top buffing brush, by bare escentuals and I love it! However on days wear I want that true no effort makeup look, I use my beauty blender, because like Symone said, it sheers it out,and that allows my natural glow to shine through. lol. I usually only use my beauty blender when my skin is completely clear though.

I like being able to build my coverage up to the level I like. lol.

I love using a stippling brush for this foundation! Make sure it is a shorter bristle one like the MAC 130 or the Morphe large stippling brush.
If not these, I use the sigma f84.
But honestly stippling brushes will apply, build and blend this foundation beautifully and in seconds.

@Sandra, No I'm talking about a natural hair brush. They act just as our hair and soaks up product. Which is why they're mostly good for things where we want a wash of color rather than a strong deposit (like blush)

Synthetic brushes can soak up product. You're right. But not as much as a natural hair one would (which is why natural hair foundation brushes aren't so popular.)

My trusty Beauty Blender or a flat top kabuki (preferably Sigma F80). They make the job so easy and provide awesome coverage. Couldn't live without them ❤️

I put some on the back of my hand and use a regular powder brush and dip it in then just buff it all over my face and neck. It makes it look a little more natural because it gives it a more skin like affec
