Hi Gals! I'm not sure if my body chemistry is weird, but my skin is like a black hole for eyeshadow pigment! 😤 I always use a primer, and try to use a matching color base if I'm being adventurous with color, but then 💥💨... The color is gone, or seriously faded. I use Urban Decay Primer Potion, which I like on my oily lids, and good quality makeup, MAC, Sugarpill, Fyrinnae. It's so frustrating! Anyone have any ideas or have this happen to you? Thanks Dolls!!😘

That so odd! The Urban Decay Primer should work. Do you notice you rub your eyes a lot?
As for tips, I've got ya covered 😘
1. Try a mattifying concealer as a base. This will control the oil on your lids and provide a base for whatever shadow you choose.
2. As odd as it sounds, try a makeup glitter glue. The Too Faced Glitter Glue will make eyelids tacky enough to hold any shadow you put on and it should not budge at all.
3. Have you ever tried cream eyeshadows? They are typically creaseless and very long lasting.
4. Urban Decay Primer Potion also is not the greatest for oily eyelids. Its texture and consistency isn't super compatible with oils.
5. Try using an oil blotting sheet on your eyelids before applying anything.
I hope some of these can help! ❤️

Thanks for the ideas Cami! I never touch my eyes, I have loads of cream eye shadows, though the Make Up For Ever seem to hold color fairly well, Stila is has a green that is GONE in an hour! I wonder if I have acidic skin? I can tarnish silver like nobody's business, why couldn't I get a cool super power like immune to calories, or an ever filling wallet?😂 I'll try concealer next. I've wondered if I tried to put a little baking soda powder to prime since it neutralizes, um, chemicals? Lol! Why can't I be N orMAL??!!😂😂

😂😂😂😂 love your post! What you mentioned about acidity is absolutely possible though. Sometimes your skins PH can get out of wack and then the products you use have another PH. Do you eat a lot of protein or sugars? What about coffee, tea, tobacco? This can all jack up skin when overdone. Just to be safe, check with a derm so he can give you his two cents. If only it could be an ever filling wallet...😂💋

Thanks girls! I'm on loads of meds for my RSD, (short explanation in my description!) That might be the culprit. How do you know I guzzle coffee and eat pie for breakfast, fluff for snacks and M&M's like, umm candy?! 😂😂😂🍪🍰🎂🍧🍨🍦🍮🍩🍡🍫🍬🍭
