TSA approved liquids?

I was wondering if I necessarily need to put any of these products in the 3-1-1 clear bag for my carry on. Are they considered "liquids"? I know TSA says "if you can pour it, pump it, squeeze it, spread it, smear it, spray it, or spill it, it is considered a liquid". But I've never gotten caught before when the cream products weren't in the ziploc bag.

I would put them in plastic bags just to be safe you wouldn't want them to be taken away.

Well it usually depends on the amount oz in it :) I get to nervous to try but you can check on the website of your airline :) I don't risk it and just put it in my check in

No more than 3 oz per product in your carry on! So each product you bring can be 2.9, as long as it isn't over 3 oz :) (Fluid oz)

Kaitlin is correct about size, and yes those need to be in the bag, along with mascara, perfume, lip gloss, etc. You get ONE bag for all of these, so pack wisely. A quart is not very big...

I ended up not putting them in the ziploc bag, I didn't get caught, they even told me to put my 3-1-1 bag back in my carry on cause they didn't need to see it lol.

Wow, remind me not to fly through that airport! I would be pretty uncomfortable with security that weak.

The entire carry on with everything goes through security you just don't have to take anything out, or take off your shoes and belt. It's called TSA pre-check, it's for people who travel frequently and are low risk, apparently it's quite new.
