Is there any possible way (without any kind of surgery) to get rid of or lighten freckles? They go across my cheeks and over my nose. I don't mind the ones on my cheek but when they start going towards my nose, and on my nose they get darker and I really don't like the look of it. I've had them since I was a baby, they use to be a lot worse. But, I'm sick of them and I want them lighter. Is there any way?

The less sun on your face, the less noticeable they will be. there is no other way to get rid of them though. my bro looked into it...about 15 years ago because in summer his would connect n it looked like one giant freckle instead of many tiny ones.

I started wearing a full face of foundation when I was 14 because of this and with SPF in them, the 5 years of high school wearing foundation really helped to fade mine, I know that sounds like a long time to wait but I'm a natural ginger so you can imagine I had them everywhere lol! But my face Is pretty clear, it's just my shoulders that have freckles now.

You could also try "Ambi". It's a skin care brand that deals with skin tone and problems like that. If not makeup always works. I have freckles over my entire body!

I also use Ambi moisturizer on my face, it has 30spf and I feel like it's worked well to lighten my darker freckles.

I have freckles as well but mine seem to come out in the sun, if you go to a local pharmacy they have products that can even out your skin "skjn whitner" don't be out off by the labeles... What it does is as well as evening out skin time it tones down unwanted freckles.

I have lived with freckles for 18 years now. I've always hated them.. But lately I've noticed that they have faded.. Well a little mostly by taking care of my skin. That includes washing, toning, moisturising , spf ( if and when I remember) and trying to stay out of the sun. I also use bio oil every now and then.

Oh, I love freckles so much! I get very few in the summer and I wish I had more! But I guess the neighbor's grass is always greener, right? Laser will get rid of them permanently, while a full coverage concealer can be a quick fix. I wouldn't use any skin bleaching creams, I'm kinda afraid of them. Probably a great spf50 sunscreen will prevent them from showing up as much.
Anyway, I really love your freckles! They can give anyone a youthful effortless look!

You can get them "zapped" off. Check out Sharon Farrell on YouTube. She's a redheaded beauty guru and she has like 3-4 videos on her experience with getting her freckles removed. I have TONS of freckles and I just deal with it. I'm using Smashbox Studio Skin foundation which is a little more full coverage than other foundations I've worn and it helps even things out but you can still see the freckles peeking through here and there...I tried L'Oreal true match and that stuff masked my whole face...it was a little unsightly.  😯
