I hv waxed my upper lip after that it got red but nothing crazy but next moning when I woke up em shocked to see that my upper lip was swollen reddish and its hurting on touching??Help!!date tommorrow :'(

I think that it's just a reaction to the opening of the pores, coz when you wax it takes a lot of the moisture out of your skin when I go the lady puts a cream so that my skin can absorb what was lost, if may even be a reaction to the wax, it looks really sore could it be a coldsore by any chance because your lip doesn't look that red??

I sudgest that you..,,

1) steam your face, opening your pores As well as cleansing your face

2) if your lip is swollen use an ice pack

3) cleanse your face normally

4) try not to touch or pick it because it will just get worse

5) when getting ready for your date ' which I hope you have a fabulous time' use a primer, concealer, foundation and power to cover up then on your lip try a red lipstick I know you may think that it will draw attention to your lip but because it is so bright it will take the attention away from it!!


But after the date I think that you should consult with a doctor just incase you are allergic to a particular ingredient in the wax or wether it be that it is just a coldsore

You may have been allergic to the type of wax you used or the wax was too hot and pulled off a layer of your skin, use aloe vera to help it heal, try to resist covering it too much with make up cus it may irritate it more
