Hi,
I will be in the Uk next week and would like to know what stores I could go to and buy make up. I know Boots. what other stores can you recommend? Thanks for the info!

Superdrug and Debenhams have really good stuff! And also House of Fraser :)

I'm not from the UK, but while I was there I absolutely loved Space NK and Selfridges. Space NK is good for things like skincare, as well as Kevyn Aucoin and By Terry and Lipstick Queen, stuff like that, whereas Selfridges is where I got Charlotte Tilbury, Illamasqua and Armani :)

House of Fraser is great:) I love Boots, Superdrug, Debenhams, Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols.

Boots, Superdrug, Space NK, Selfridges (they have stores in London, Birmingham and Manchester), House of Fraser, Debenhams, John Lewis, Harvey Nichols.
I'd suggest sticking to stuff you can't get from where you are now (unless make up is particularly expensive where you are from) If you're from the US don't bother buying stuff you can get in the US as it's so much more expensive so you'll end up out of pocket.

Harvey Nichols is my personal favourite, or superdrug for drugstore makeup since it has Collection, Sleek, GOSH etc.

Boots and Superdrug for drugstore, and department stores like Debenhams and House of Fraiser for higher end. If you're in a big city like London or Manchester, then definitely take a look at Selfridges.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions! I will definitely check them out!
I am not looking for high end products at the moment (this I will do when I get to The States as the prices are cheaper there). One more question if I may: As for drugstore (Sleek, Rimmel, etc.. ) which store has the best promotions? BOGO, buy 3 for the price of 2...?

It just depends Boots and Superdrug are both good and have offers on most of the time. Their 3 for 2 mix and matches are the best and they happen fairly frequently.
I've never noticed Sleek be on offer though. Most of the other drugstore brands seem to have offers on most of the time though and they all seem fairly standard across the board.
Personally I tend to shop in Superdrug but they offer student discount but Boots doesn't.
