You know how you're supposed to dampen a beauty blender before you use it? Are you supposed to dampen a makeup sponge/wedge before you use it?

What would be the difference in application between it used regularly and dampened?

It wets the product a bit which makes it easier to blend into your skin. Also, when you wetted a sponge, it expands, helping you cover more of your face. Hope I helped! 😊

Wetting the sponge also helps it to absorb less product than a dry sponge would in my opinion.
