Meh not a fan of her. she reminds me of those rappers who start going to sh*t once the money rolls in. her persona totally changed when she became famous outside of the YouTube world, it seems to me.

I do like her, as I've been a fan when she was less popular and she has changed. But she is insightful.
However I don't buy books by people ever so I personally wouldn't but I'm not you ;) it's up to you

I was always a fan of Michelle Phan. I give it to her for discovering my love of makeup. Although I do prefer her older videos. But everyone should be allowed to change as they grow and mature. Don't know about the book. I'd have to skim it first.

I am personally not a fan of Michelle Phan. I will not be purchasing her book. How she was able to gain so many subscribers on YouTube, stuns me.

I bet the book is a bunch of like common sense tips and tricks too lol. Stuff we could figure out without the book. Also not a fan of her! But I love when MUAs come out with books :)

I probably won't buy it, as I'm not that huge of a fan of hers. I like her videos, they're quick and creative (though lately they've been lacking, but she just wrote a book and has a cosmetics line, so I imagine it's hard to keep up with youtube vids lol) but yes they are very sponsored but that doesn't mean you need to buy the product. Use whatever you have instead, and I don't know about you but I have to be madly in love with a look (that isn't super neutral) before I actually try it out lol. But I'll definitely skim through it if I see it. If there's any tips and tricks that I haven't seen before I might buy it. Besides, I don't think any book can be a waste of money.

I'm not a fan of of Phan for various reasons that a few beauties already listed...I only buy beauty books from those who I respect creatively and have a pay it forward mentality (Bobbi Brown is one such artist). Save the money and wait till it hits the public library shelf.
