Hey beautiful ladies and gents,
I have read lots and lots of reviews and I'm still in verge if I should really splurge on Clarisonic Mia or not? Does purging occur to everyone? Will it be worth all the money? Yes, I did search the topic in search bar on the beautylish app.. All the posts that come up are from 2011 and 2012.. I want your all take on it before I decide of this little demon. 😃

Thank you for replying Yasmin K. Do you use it once or day or twice a day? As which cleanser if you don't mind me asking too many questions? 😃

Here is from a different thread that I commented on the other day. I never purged. Make sure you get the right brush head for you (this was the hardest part for me but it helped getting the variety pack to decide but if you have sensitive skin I recommend delicate). I only use mine at night and I remove makeup before using so I get a deep clean than it just trying to take off my makeup. Don't press to hard because that is just too harsh, and can make things worse. I only use it at night and I just wash my face with a gentle cleanser in the morning. I don't like the Clarisonic Cleansers so I use whatever kind I need for my skin type (usually one for acne).

@Yasmin, do you like Boscia's? I'm always changing to different cleansers when I run out.

Thank you so much for replying ladies... I do kinda have sensitive skin so I will prolly start with delicate brush and go from there.

I just got one about 2 weeks ago and I think I really like it. I had a few new whiteheads the first couple days, but they were all gone by the next day and overall my skin got way clearer. This past week I've had more breakouts but I think it's in reaction to other ways I've broken my skincare routine, rather than a purge phase. I use mine once a day before bed with the Boscia purifying gel cleanser, too.

@Lisa- I love the boscia cleanser. It is super gentle and lasts forever. Got my first bottle in February and just had to buy a new one last month.

The best tip I read before I got mine is that you're not supposed to press with it. The moving head does all the work for you, so pressing it into the skin can actually make it too rough, leading to tears which can host bacteria and cause acne. To avoid the temptation you can hold it at the very bottom, which makes it difficult to get enough leverage to press down too hard.

Thanks Yasmin, it will probably be the next cleanser I try.
