Hello ladies😘 I have my monroe pierced & have been think about taking it out do to the fact that I was only 13 when I got it & don't like it at all now. The only reason I haven't taken it out is because I'm afraid I'll have a reaalllyy noticeable scar 😣 I just want opinions on what I should do? What would you do? Thank you beauties!💋💕 Oh! Btw I know my lip ring looks strange but its because I took this picture on the 4th of July & its Red, white, & blue🇺🇸🙊😁

Hmm..I took mine out, and honestly it does leave behind a scar. Mine looks like an open hole, lol, but it's definitely closed. It sucks, I hate it 😒

It shouldn't scar badly if it healed properly and you can lighten the scar anyways and cover it with makeup but I don't know.

Take it out if you don't like it haha that's what I would do. And if you do have a scar I think there is scar Cremes and stuff at stores aha.

I honestly think it looks so good on you. Piercings aren't my thing but I like it on you,...
If you hate it, I say take it out and when it heals you can look into things to slowly make the scar face if there is a massive one.

Thats not bad Renay!😊 I don't horribly dislike my piercing but I feel like every time I talk to someone they just stare at my piercing 😂✋ I guess my question should be. Does it look bad? Is that why everybody stares at it??

I had my angel bites in since I was about 13 too but I took them out a while ago, they still arent closed (which is why I can still put them in occasionally) I wish theyd heal but at the same time it doesn't bother me cause I can put it in and take it out whenever.

I think it looks good on you. but if you do take it out, I would assume it'll leave a mark. I had spider bites & took them out like 2 years ago & you can still see my holes even though they are closed. like it's not a scar, it's just the holes are still visible. either way, you'll still be gorgeous :)

I think it looks good! If you are afraid of a scar then get a good silicone scar cream/ointment/gel they work well. Maybe you could replace it with a different... stud. Perhaps something to keep it new and fresh and maybe the fondness you once had for it may return because you are seeing it in a new...light as you will

Thank you so much ladies!😘😍💜 You're such a doll Kat💋 I've been looking for a reaaalllyy tiny stud but can't find one anywhere 😒 I change it often but feel like the jewelry is to big & brings waaayyy too much attention to my lips 😔 I kinda don't want to take it out but if I did & had a small scar I wouldn't mind but knowing my luck I'd have a puffed up scar!😞😣

When I got my piercing the percentile me if you rub alcohol (or hydrogen peroxide can't remember which) the blood cells will loosen and help the piercing close and I went left with a scar from my nose piercing maybe this would work??
