I'm ordering a pair of leather Steve Madden Flats and I am torn between a which size I should get because I'm kind of in between sizing. Either an 8 1/2 or a 9. Have any of you bought Steve Madden flats before? Is the sizing super true? Do they run to bif or too Small? What size do you guys think I should get. I don't want them to be super duper tight but at the same time I don't want them falling off of my foot.

I would get the bigger size depending on if you think your feet will grow anymore this year. If your already in highschool you probably don't need the next biggest size.

Should of probably put that in there that my feet will most definitely not be growing any more at all. But Thank you anyway Sophie!

I think they fit to size! I got some! I wear a 8 1/2 and had to get a 9 because that's all they have... A little bit big but still fit alright so I assume they are true to size. Amazing shoes, so cute and great quality :)

I say the 8 1/2 couldn't you always exchange the size online because I thought they did that.

I've thought about that Leona but with returns you have to pay for shipping to return it wait for them to get your item them it takes 2 or so weeks for the money to get put back on your card then you have to reorder the shoe then pay for separate shipping again. Its really just a giant hassle. And I can't return them to the store because I'm hours away from the closet one.

Oh that sucks hmm you can call and ask and maybe tell them the show size you are in another brand I'm sure they'll help.

Thanks Leona! I actually haven't really thought of that. Or I might just get the 8 1/2 and since they are leather they might stretch a bit so if they are a bit to small it would be ok.

You're welcome and they sell those shoe stretching things I think if you have troubles :D.

If your foot is wider and you can't get a w, get the 9. Trust me I only. Uh Steve Madden flats and they're hard to break in. I own a 8 1/2w, and the rest are 9.

Ok I checked the ones I own lol, if they're leather get the 8 1/2 as they will stretch and won't get too loose. If they're the glitter kind or the shiny kind (not leather usually) get the 9 cuz you can't really break them in as well and as easy, they will get a little loose but will still be comfortable. And if you can get any pair in a w size then get the 8 1/2 for sure too.

I have Steve Madden heels and I had to go up a size but here's a tip if you have a TJ Max near by go in and you can try on a pair of his sandles there to give you an idea what size you will fit into plus you might like the prices for his sandles there ;-)

Oh, you can try them on at Famous Footwear too!! Thanks for mentioning that Alma, and as for the wide, I have been told I have wider feet then most guys (x & I was okay, so I suppose it all depends. :)

I think they run true to size. I have yachts for feet and from my experience w his shoes, I've gotten away with getting my actual size. If they're really leather,
They will more than likely stretch. I say go w actually shoe size.
