Fake Uggs? Any Thoughts.

So I know fall and winter is a while away but I was just curious about you ladies opinions on fake uggs. to me I see no big deal but I know some people who think fake uggs are just absolutely horrific for some reason which I never understood. what do you guys think.

I live in Aus, and honestly nobody has brand name ugg boots apart from people that live in the snow/rich old ladies. Everyone I know just gets them from Target/Kmart/Big W and we never wear them as a fashion statement, more of a "keep my feet warm at home and possibly at the shops of I'm super lazy"

I have never liked uggs in general I feel they are slipper kind of shoes and should not be worn to school/going out/dinner kind of thing. But besides my opinion, I have never seen anyone criticize the originality of the shoe.

I live in a pretty rich town, where there tons of girls who wear brand name Uggs, but I can't afford them & find it pointless to spend so much money when you could similar shoes at a fraction of the cost. It's impractical. However, I have never gotten any criticism on my fake Uggs, only compliments. :) I really don't understand why people spend so much money on those shoes. People wear them to school/going out probably to show and feel their richness. Money wasted could be spent on more useful things, or good causes.

Lol I also find uggs ugly yet I did used to own a pair of fake uggs. I live in a kind of poor country so most people have fake uggs. tho I know a lot of doctors say that uggs arent the best shoes foor feet and body.

I personally love uggs!:) they are my go to in the winter for college with yoga pants. I feel like you are paying for quality with uggs because I had fake ones but the inside of the shoe was made of fake skin not sheep skin. And real uggs are so warm that you never wanna take them off.
I personally do not care if people wear real or fake brands shoot one could be a millionaire yet still wear fake brands.

I have uggs and can I just say they are so amazing. They definitely keep your feet warm in the cold winter and they are super comfortable! I just love them. Everyone has different taste but if you can afford them then why not get some, after all, money is meant to be spent, right? You decide what you want to spend it on whether it be "worth it" or "pointless"

Uggs are UGLY. Literally no one looks good in those terrors. But this whole brand name bs applies to all aspects of life. These idiots want 50$ pink designer lipstick > 8$ pink lipstick which is just as good. It's all in the name, and sometimes the quality.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if you think uggs are ugly, just don't wear them. I love them and I don't think they're terrors as you call them. and if they buy the $50 lipstick over the $8 one, let them, as long as it's not you spending the money it shouldn't bother you.

Uggs are far from ugly. I consider doc martens ugly. Therefore, uggs are from ugly. As a owner of a few pairs of uggs, the quality is amazing. I've'e never owned a "fake" pair of uggs before, but, a few of my friends have and the quality is just terrible. It would be a waste of money to buy some, the materials are not at all the same and most of the "fake" ones are made in China, which they use cheap material to make them. I don't think it's worth buying, you're making another company rich for dupes instead of giving the creator the credit. I just don't find that right.

Costco has boots similar to Uggs and they're actually not bad, priced around $30. I'm sure you can use the same protective spray the made for Uggs...

I only own fake uggs! I got them from Aeropostale. I refuse to buy real ones because I feel they are cruel to animals. My fake uggs are very comfortable, keep my feet warm, and are fantastic for winter! I do think they are ugly but I'll go for comfort over style anyfsy! I've also found that darker colors like the chocolate brow don't look as tacky.

I'm also from Australia, and really nobody cares at all about the brand name, because most of us consider uggs or 'fake' uggs as slippers and we rarely leave the house in them apart from rushing down to the shops in the middle of winter (which it currently is here)
Really I don't understand why anyone has any problem with 'fake' ugg boots, they're warm for home, and they're cheap, so if they get wrecked it doesn't break the bank to go pick up another pair.

I have real uggs, black ones with bows on the back. I bought them quite a while ago (when I still liked uggs I don't anymore ) but I'd say wear fakies, I don't think they're THAT much of a difference

Personally I am against Uggs, (as cute as they are) because of the fact that they are made from real sheepskin. I know the whole purpose is to make your feet warm and cute at the same time, but personally unless you are an Eskimo or such, there's no need! They are just the same as my Kohl's knock offs (mine are softer though lol). So yeah I am all for fake Uggs!! (:
