I thought I might do some dark brown (as my natural hair colour) highlights to ease the transition so that when the roots are longer there won't be that sudden transition of colour
Do you think it'll work or it'd make it look weird?
Thanks ladies ☺️

Not if you do the roots or "virgin" hair last, and only on for maybe 20 mins.. Not exactly sure what you have done to get your hair red but if you've lightened it at all chances are it might take a little more of a darker color than the top part if the hair is very porous.. If that makes sense

Honestly I know nothing about dyes I just go to my trusted salon and they do it for me, I don't remember lightening my hair they just applied the red dye
Am not asking how 😄 just asking whether or not I should do it
Thank you so much for responding Amanda 😄☺️

Well if you're going to a salon to get it done again they'll be able to make it so it's even. You can also use a protein on your hair before you dye it (you can pick one up at Sally's beauty supply) and it will help the color adhere evenly. Hope this helps :)
