Thank you so much for your response Alicia!! I would favor an ad free app with a fee but some beauties might not be able to afford that extra expense every month so in regards to what type of ads...ads that are makeup related...ads featuring makeup lines, clothing retailers that pertains directly to why we all come to BL in the first place would be beneficial ( and probably less painful on the eyes). Thanks again for the response. :)

Fortunately, ads help us pay for the cost of keeping the forums up and running. I will definitely forward the feedback on about a paid version of the app though. Also, may I ask what types of ads if any you'd like to see instead?

I thought there was something was wrong with my phone as well Katelyn...had me go into my phone settings. I removed the app on my phone and have resorted to laptop. My time on BL is going to be very limited now without that app. I hope the powers that be do see this and post some kind of response.

I have a droid and they are right beneath where I'm writing my comment. how annoying just glad someone else mentioned it cause I was concerned it was something wrong with my phone. NO TO ADS!!

Exactly Shelley, I get they need money to maintain servers, software, pay for programming, etc... but there are other apps I pay for so I don't have to deal with apps. I'm sure there are enough subscribers here and more every day that can help to offset those costs.

Me too Shelley and I looked at my personal phone and there is an app update waiting for BL so that will cause the ads to appear on here too when I push the update through. I would rather pay a small fee for an add free app then be constantly barraged by ads every time I open a thread, I understand they need to generate revenue but there are many other avenues to do so. :)

Wait, I decided to update my work phone, I usually use my personal phone for BL and the ads are there now. I simply won't be using the app anymore, I don't like ads. BL hasn't been the same lately anyway so I was already considering moving on. This just makes my decision easier.
