So I just got my bottom lip pierced and all the skin around my lips feel very dry. I usually use face lotion but I don't know if I can get that on the fresh piercing and the piercing is all hot and dry feeling and its just really incomfortable.

I have a lip piercing, and I would say just let it heal on its own, but also use sea salt& hot/warm water on it for at least 2 minutes at least once a day. What I did was get a shot glass, put the stuff in them make a duck face and put the shot glass on my lips lol, it should heal and feel better soon :) good luck! Also try to put a ring on, because I found that some studs could be too small and irritate the piercing a lot.

You should have used a swelling bar for your lip, you can get a lot of bigger bars aswell to compensate for how much its swelling, thats what I was told to use until it healed properly.
