I really want to design clothes, but I'm only 13! I believe I can do anything. So any tips?

What grade are you in? It might be worth it to look at your high school's course offerings and see if they have any fashion design or home ec classes available as electives.

I have taken sewing classes for 5 years from junior high to highschool. My big tip is to read, watch, and look at fashion blogs or videos. Are you going into just designing (making croquis), if that's so, look up Fashion Teaching and Zyra Banez on YouTube. If you want to actually make clothes, then sewing classes are advisable. You'll learn types of fabrics and what works with what. You also learn about color coordinating and certain design fundamentals. Good luck!

If they do Textiles as a course at your school, see if you can take it!
Depending on whether you want to design or actually make them, take sewing classes for the same reason Diana said.
If it's just designing, invest in a large sketchbook. Create moodboards, draw outfits, ideas.
Have you got any pictures of your designs so far?
