I heard it's way to harsh for the skin and that it throws off the pH balance as it is very acidy. :-/

I used it and it got rid of my acne. But Kiimy is correct.
I would do a test on a little part if your skin so you know how it reacts on your skin. Also don't use it constantly if it does work for you.

Everyone's skin is different so everyone's skin has different reactions to items like what you are talking about.

Okay so I have really bad acne, and in 6th grade (5 years ago) I tried lemon juice and it threw my skin out of whack. It was red and inflamed and itchy an gross and when I would put on makeup it came out weird. It damages your skin and upsets the chemical balances. Do not use lemon juice.

I have great luck with it but many gals say it's a no-no. I don't scrub (no!) I just put the juice on for a couple minutes before washing my face and it kills zits and blackheads like magic! But DO patch test to see if it's okay for you, and song leave it on long the first time either. 😘💕

I wouldn't ever recommend using it, it's way too harsh. spot testing won't do anything because you're not going to see how it's negatively effecting your skin. it can make your skin very sensitive to the sun too. there are many more things you can use that won't damage your skin.

It can end up drying up your skin depending on your skin type.
