I just heard about the no shampoo solution where you only use baking soda and vinegar to "wash" your wash hair. Have any of you tried this what did you think about it? Also can this lighten your hair?
I've heard the long term results are amazing. Some I have heard is more volume, grows faster, and shiner, and also can grow thicker. Are theses all true? Thanks!

I've personally never used these ingredients, but I feel like they would be drying?? Especially for people with already dry hair? Correct me if I'm wrong!

Nothing can make your hair grow thicker. I doubt they'd make your hair grow faster either. Plus (like Winnie said), baking soda is very drying.
Vinegar can make your hair shinier, but I don't imagine the long term effects are all that good.
And no, it will not lighten your hair.

It actually doesn't make your hair dry at all. It actually balances your hair out to what it is supposed to be. As a shampoo you mix water and baking soda together and pour that over your hair. Just the baking soda alone will be drying so you rinse it out and then you pour a water and apple cider vinegar solution over your hair. This balalnces the pH and softens your hair. Rinse it out and then you're done. No it doesn't lighten your hair at all, I don't know why it would. I would say that it gives more volume because it gets rid of all the build up you get from normal shampoo and conditioner. Maybe it'll make your hair grow faster because it gets rid of all the build up at your roots, I've always had hair that grows fast though. Your hair definetly gets a lot shinier, which is feom the apple cider vinegar. I don't think it'll make your hair grow thicker either...however thick your hair has grown before ia the way it is always going to grow. You should definetly try it. I use to do it all the time but I quit doing it bcuz I prefer my Brilliant Brunette shampoo & conditioner because it smells better and adds color dimension to my hair. But honestly baking soda and apple cider vinegar is great. :) Try it out!
