I wouldnt say its vegas -ish. I think something to wear there as a visitor would be something more glam/sparkles (x but the dress is really nice it looks lovely on you!(:

It depends on what you want to do while you are there. When I was in Las Vegas in November, I mostly saw people wearing jeans and sweaters because it was cold. Outside of the night clubs, very few people dress up on the strip. Everyone associates Vegas with glitter and sequins and exposed skin, but the people I saw wearing that kind of thing were freezing their asses off and looked like dumb tourists (and we're targets of pickpockets). It is a lot of walking to get from place to place, most of which is outdoors.
On the gambling floor people dress casually, for shopping they dress either casually or a little high end (give the impression they have money to spend), for dinner/shows/clubbing they dress up. Pack a few versatile outfits based on what you want to do, but don't feel that you need to go showgirl glam just to fit in.
