It could be thirty minutes before I need to go somewhere..and I will try on every single outfit in my closet. The ending results are me stressed out and very upset. EVERYTHING I own is outdated, too big and uncomfortable. etc.etc. It also makes me feel..uh..not so confident.
Has this happened to any of you?
What did you do to fix it?
I've went shopping, and just haven't found much.

Don't worry about your clothes being outdated, if your clothes are too big then drop a size! I get it can be hard to find clothes you like but maybe go back shopping take friends & try on different clothing & styles & get their opinions & obviously make sure you're comfy, sometimes it's hard to find newer clothing bc your not used to it so best to always try on clothes & try something different! ☺️

Every 6 months or so, I like to clean out my closet. I take out everything from every drawer and I go through one by one and get rid of the things I don't wear. This happened to me a while ago, and honestly organizing my stuff so I knew exactly what I had really helped. Once you've gotten rid of everything you don't want, think long and hard about what kind of clothing you like to wear and will wear. Then buy pieces like that. And feel free to talk to me if you just want to talk about organization and where to shop, I had kind of an identity crisis my junior year of high school, so I know what you're going through and I know how much it sucks.

I put my clothes in piles of outfits in the bottom of my draws that I see offline and stuff so I'd buy the outfit that I see on the manicin it just makes me feel more relaxed and more stylish knowing that someone else has styled that thinking it's nice if you get what I mean?? X.

Try finding some friends to trade with or go to a thrift store! You might have to dig for a bit but you can get some really cool (and cheap) clothing pieces from second hand stores... If they aren't faded or stained all you have to do is wash it and it will be new to you!!

Well Christin that has a lot to do with what your style is like :) but personally I prefer stores like Nordstrom and Macy's, because I find that they have high end clothing that isn't ultra expensive but also isn't so cheap that it falls apart. I'd also make a case for investing in items you love like jeans or sweaters etc. because I have a few pairs of higher end jeans that I've owned since I was in 7th grade, and I'm almost 21 now. To me, that's worth spending more money on; clothes that will last as long as you want them to.
BUT, make sure you are really clear on what type of clothing you like to wear, it would suck to buy something ultra trendy and never wear it because it's not really your style. So take a little while, figure yourself out and then go shopping :)

I looked at your pictures and you are beautiful and in great shape, so that makes things a lot easier :) what I recommend is going to the mall with your best friend (you know, that person who always speaks the truth) and go to stores that have plenty of different clothing styles like Forever21, Gap or Express and try on everything! even that skirt that your friend suggested and may not appeal so much (you may be surprised getting out of yoyr comfort zone). At the end you will realize what fits you better and stick to cloths that make you feel beautiful and confident :) good luck!

Have go to outfits helps! like I know this one dress with a black cardigan works on me really well, so I just follow the template and next time buy dresses in similar cuts but different colours, and different kinds of cardigans
later I mix and match
what helps for me is finding a cut I like and just buying different colours of it ahaha (kinda lame but it works for me)

Jessica is right. Buy basic pieces that can be mixed and matched for multiple outfits, dressed up or down. Things like solid color blouses, tank tops, sweaters, dresses. Khaki and black slacks, denim in a variety of cuts and washes. Add variety with some fun pieces (patterns, graphics, etc). Then once you've established a basic wardrobe, build up some accessories to change things up. A plain tee shirt with a cardigan and dark jeans can be casual if you wear it with sneakers and some informal jewelry, or semiformal paired with a statement necklace and high heels. Take an outfit from summer (dress, flip flops) to winter (dress, sweater, tights, boots, scarf).
If you focus on versatile pieces that fit well and can be used in multiple seasons ands occasions, you'll get the most bang for your buck. You can add a personal touch with accessories and how you style the pieces together.
