I might be wrong but I get my hair wet and rub it in then I wash it out with my shampoo and conditioner.

I heat mine up into an actual oil over hot water in a pan, and then I mix my other oils in it as well, then while their still oils I massage them into my hair, let them sit for however long I want, usually 45 minutes, then wash it out with my regular shampoo and conditioner.

I put mine from the bottom up and sometimes but a shower cap on it. Leave it at least 30 minutes then wash it out (:

When I use mine, I make sure the coconut oil is in its liquid form, so if its not then you should heat it up a bit, maybe just to a really soft consistency and your hands could warm it up, plus it'll be easier to grab from the jar so you can get more product, then I start at my ends, I usually put my hair in 2 layers, one top& one bottom, just so I get everything. From your ends just go up, after I make sure it gets everywhere I kinda just put it in the shape of a loose bun at the top of my head, but don't use a hair tie, and it just helps with putting the shower cap on. :) I leave mine on overnight, then shampoo twice& use conditioner in the morning.

I would warm it up, the solid form is difficult to work with and won't absorb in your hair. Good luck!!:)

I massage the coconut oil in my hair with soft hands...den wrap my hair with a towel soaked in hot water. I repeat the hot towel process whenever it gets cold. Aftr about half an hour, I wash my hair with regular shampoo. I don't feel the need to use conditioner.

I've just started doing this too, I personally don't heat mine up, I'll use my hands to warm it up if it's in it's solid from but it's hot where I live so it's melted now lol :) I like to leave mine on for as long as I can, I've been putting it on for about 3 hours before I wash my hair.
