I agree, the first time I purchased it, it didn't have the plastic band around it and I didn't know, so it could've been used although it didn't look used, the second time I bought it, I realized that lol.

I've gone through many of these. It's great for only being 5$. I do agree packaging could be better! Literally if I drop this from my bed to carpet floor it'll break -.- I'll still keep purchasing it though

I feel like the issue with "drugstore priced" rather than drugstore is the hassle involved with getting it. If I don't like it, I have a big shipping return fiasco, if I like it, I have to order a backup because I'm days if not a week or more from a replacement if I run out. I've never caught on to the makeupgeek train for that reason, and it's why my HG, everyday products will always be drugstore (like this) rather than drugstore priced.

Yea, I haven't made any trips to a high end makeup store, so that's too bad. Luckily this product does the job! I'm hoping to make my first trip ever to Ulta soon though, so that should be fun! Maybe I'll look for it. I need to make a list of products that I'm going to purchase when I finally get to go there!
