First aid beauty is amazing! I haven't tried that particular product but their Bye Bye Redness cream is amazing!! I'm sure the rest of their products are as well. As for the beauty blender, I had a dupe from Tjmaxx once and it broke apart when I tried to wash it. My $2 pack of makeup wedges did a better job, I haven't tried the bb but I am definitely looking into it now.

I heard that the beauty blender isn't worth the price at all. & that it does the same job as $1 sponges.

Hi Janelle, the beauty blender is made from a different material almost like a microphone cover it actually last up to 7 to 8 months and if you use it with its actual cleaner the care for it is simple. The so called dupes do not compare to be honest the dupes harden quickly, now compared to a actual foundation sponge that in its self is doable because it's made for application but the shape of a BB blender is what makes the process of application go by so much quicker plus smoothly with a tap roll, it's made for those that are not familiar with application or that need something to give a quick finish (basically make makeup life easier) now that being said it's not my go to for application but it's wonderful for setting the foundation finish. You can only compare if you actually have used the BB blender and compared it to a so called dupe to understand the difference just like any other product some brushes may be good for a $1 but once you have tried a $60 brush you see and feel what the hype was all about. As for hourglass Ambient lighting that all depends on what your looking for on a look,I myself love radiant light I can use it as a setting powder and it looks beautiful but on a darker skin tone it can be used as a luminous highlighter that looks fantastic.See I like To call those multipurpose use product's because it's endless on what you can use them for, it's all about your plan with the product, be creative with it all :-)

The biggest thing for me with the BB is that I do think it's maybe a bit better, but it's not $20 better, period. I could replace my RT sponge 4 times for what I pay for a BB. I've always thought and preached that the BB and its special cleansers were an overhyped money pit. My RT sponge blends everything I apply with it like a dream, and it's even good for just padding over my final makeup to get rid of powderiness.

I'm totally pro-brushes but I have to say I love my beauty blender (always damp) for heavy foundations or for when I want to move a little faster. I did have a dupe and compared to my bb, the thing is like a rock. Like Alma said above, it's not my go-to, but it does have some great benefits.
