A peachy or salmon shade will counteract the darkness of undereye circles. Bobbi brown makes a really good one! To hide indented areas you'll want to use a matching concealer to cover darkness and then use a concealer a few shades lighter just on the line where it's indented. A lighter color brings the area forward and makes it appear flush. Wayne goss has a good YouTube video showing the process!

I second on the Bobbi Brown. I use it too to cover up the same issue. Though I don't use a 2nd concealer a few shades lighter to pull the area forward. I use a brigtening pen or a sometimes a brightening powder for that. You might want to look into the shades Dark Peach and Apricot for correctors and for a concealer Almond I believe (going off my memory of the color names so you will need to double check with a Bobbi Brown counter artist).

Oooh Shelley can you recommend a brightening pen/powder? I don't mind the concealer I have but I hate the packaging (it leaks so much I have to keep it in a ziplock bag) and I don't know what to get when it runs out.

@Jack...the brightening pen that I have is something that my husband formulated and packaged at his company and isn't sold retail (I'm his lab rat for it right now). The powder...Laura Mercier Brightening powder for undereye, sometimes I reach for Ben Nye banana powder (used very lightly with a fan brush). A couple years ago I was using a cream brightener from Smashbox (their undereye brightener) but my daughter made me get ride it of it because she said it made the area look ashy) and I think it looks best on anyone lighter than me. YSL has a brightening pen but its quite pricey and I advise taking swatches in person versus risking online ordering.

Oh it must be so fun having brand new cosmetics to try out! YSL is the brand of my terribly leaky concealer so now I am really scrutinous of all their products - it's so expensive to be losing product! Thanks so much for all the suggestions!
