NYC has a translucent powder in both pressed an loose forms. I've only tried the loose powder and the only downfall was that it didn't keep my oily skin matte.

Maybelline has an oil control pressed translucent powder, I've never tried it but the reviews are good and have no mention of shimmer.

I use the dermablend numasque translucent powder.
Cheaper than the more higher priced powders. this powder has a lot more than the mac prep and prime (mac prep and prime was my go to powder for years) VERYY light, and absorbs my oil all day. (I am very very oily skinned) Doesn't break me out either, as it's fragrance free and talc free.

I agree with Sandra.. RCMA is the bomb and so worth it. You get so much product, it'll last you for years. Its very very finely milled which is such a plus because it won't give you that over powdered look. Its suitable for all skin types!

Great powders I use are RCMA NO-Color Powder as well as RMS UN Powder,Mehron Color-Set powder which is similar to both mentioned above.Another one that's nice is Too faced Primed & Poreless press powder and Model Co powder. :)
